Your dashboard now keeps up with you
You mark a booking as booked, head back to the dashboard, and the numbers sit exactly where they were. Did it save? Did something break? You refresh, and nothing. So you move on and check again later.
That gap is gone this week. The dashboard now moves when you do, reports pick up a new way to slice your suppliers, and a few guardrails landed to protect your commission data.
Report tiles update in about a minute
The at a glance section on your dashboard now pulls straight from live Tern data instead of refreshing on the hour. Add a booking, import one, or record a commission payment, and the tiles move within about a minute.
Mark something booking as booked, go back to the dashboard, and your booking count and sales volume are already updated. No refreshing, no wondering whether it went through.
One thing to keep in mind: the reporting tab still takes about an hour to reflect new data. The dashboard is the fast one.
Quality of life
- Supplier tags in sales and booking reports. Supplier tag is now a field you can pull into your agency sales and expected commission reports and filter on, so you can build the exact supplier list you're after.
- Currency converts at the transaction date. Sales and expected commission convert at the booking date rate, and commission received converts at the received date rate. This applies to both the dashboard and the reporting tab. If you have bookings in another currency, your historical totals will shift once with this change, and then stop drifting every time you rerun a report.
- Trips with received commission can't be deleted. Try to delete one and Tern will tell you that deleting removes that commission from your reports, and suggest archiving the trip instead. Same idea as the guardrails on trips with payments or authorizations, pointed at keeping your reporting clean.
