This week's update is a big one. Several features you've been asking for are out of beta and live. Travelers get more control over what they authorize, logging a booking takes a fraction of the time, and agencies get a team page built for the way they work. There's also a long list of smaller fixes that make Tern smoother every day.
Choose which items to authorize
Travelers can now pick exactly which items to authorize on the Authorize Payments page. You told us that travelers were authorizing things by accident, or weren't sure what they had approved before they hit submit. Now the choice has to be made on purpose.
Travelers can still use Select All, or they can check off only what they want. The rest of the flow works the same as before: pick a saved card, accept the agency and supplier terms, sign, and submit. Your clients stay in control, and there's less confusion for everyone.

Submit a booking right from the Dashboard
Another long-awaited one: you can now create a booking straight from the Tern Dashboard. One submission creates the trip, creates the contact, and shares the booking with your agency.
Open the new Create Booking option and a drawer slides out where you can enter:
- Accreditation, booking supplier, and booked date
- Category, confirmation number, and property
- Travelers (choose existing contacts or add new ones on the spot)
- Travel dates, total price, and trip name
- Booking type, including a new non-commissionable option
- Expected commission, expected date, and commission type
- Notes
When you're ready, you can submit and create a related booking, submit and duplicate, or submit and start a new one. Working through a stack of bookings is now quick. Everything shows up as a booked trip with travelers attached, so your agency reporting stays complete.

A better team management page
Agencies have a new team management page. Filter members by role or by who pays for the seat, customize your columns, and add a Last Activity Date column to see who's active. Host agencies get filtering in the All Members view, and you can still download a CSV of your full team.

Quality of life updates
- Branded emails: Authorization and insurance opt-out emails now carry your agency's branding, come from "Your Agency via Tern," and send replies straight to you.
- AI model picker for automations: Choose Light for simple jobs like creating tasks, or Premium for heavier work like trip reviews and custom emails.
- Email all travelers: Group trip emails now show how many travelers will be skipped because they don't have a primary email.
- Payments due: Canceled bookings no longer show up in Payments Due on the Dashboard, so the list stays actionable.
- Activity media: A simpler photo toolbar that matches rooms. Add from your library, paste an image, or import from a URL.
- Smaller screens: Adding items in the itinerary builder is easier with the new plus button, and trip actions now sit at the top of the overview page instead of in the three-dot menu.

As always, let us know what you think.
