Ending Invisible Work

Disconnected tools force advisors to enter data across multiple platforms, creating inefficiencies and increasing the risk of errors. Tern is eliminating invisible work by offering a vertically integrated platform that connects itinerary planning, CRM, supplier payments, and commission reconciliation into a seamless workflow. With these enhancements, advisors can focus on their clients instead of administrative tasks.

Launches This Year

Since launching Groups last December, thousands of advisors have used Tern to simplify group travel. We’ve introduced key upgrades, including:

  • Multiple Activity Options – Clients can select their preferred activities during signup, instantly authorizing payments.
  • Optional Add-ons – Travelers can opt into extra excursions at booking or add them later.
  • Real-Time Room Inventory Tracking – Prevent overbooking and adjust availability as needed.

Beyond group travel, we’ve also rolled out simplified traveler authentication, flexible pricing options, and new automation triggers, ensuring advisors spend less time on manual tasks and more time creating unforgettable trips.

Tern is transforming back-office operations for agencies, providing advanced tools for commission reconciliation, reporting, collaboration, and content sharing. Our latest updates empower agencies to:

Agencies are also embracing Tern’s template-sharing capabilities, which allow them to create and distribute thousands of prebuilt itineraries, email templates, and workflows—dramatically reducing time spent on repetitive tasks.

What’s Next? 2025 Roadmap

Looking ahead, we have an ambitious slate of enhancements planned:

  • Forms 2.0 (March) – More control over form fields and trip request contact info.
  • Invoicing (April) – Generate trip invoices, including support for compliance requirements like TICO.
  • Trip Building 2.0 (April) – A streamlined, intuitive trip builder with new automation features.
  • Dashboard (June) – A centralized hub for authorizations, tasks, and key trip details.
  • Editor Upgrade (May/June) – A fully redesigned text editor with improved formatting, undo functionality, and better copy/paste support.

For agencies, we’re also introducing consortium integrations—starting with Signature Travel Network in April, followed by Virtuoso and others later in 2025.
