Our First Group Travel Feature Is Now In Beta!

Welcome back to our weekly Tern product update! It feels great to be back after a break for last week’s webinar. I've got some fun updates for you this Halloween week. 🎃 Let’s dive right in!

Group Travel Is Now in Beta!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our first groups feature, now available in beta. This is just the beginning of what we’ve outlined in our ambitious roadmap for group travel functionality. Group Trip “Folders” are here to help you organize and manage your groups more efficiently.

  • Create & manage group trips
  • Configure settings for your group trip
  • Create sub-trips within your group, or move existing trips in
  • Organize your groups & sub-trips on your trip planning board/list

This is the first of many groups features to come this Fall - including group itineraries, landing pages, self-service client sign-up, and more! Learn more about our group travel roadmap.

Design Updates for Task Lists

Some of you might have noticed our refreshed design for tasks, as shared in our Facebook community. The updates include:

  • A cleaner, more intuitive feel: we’re continuously working to streamline every part of Tern for a more enjoyable user experience.
  • Full trip and client names are now displayed, making task associations clearer.

Email Attachment Limit Increase

We’ve also increased the maximum size for email attachments to 20MB. This improvement comes directly from your feedback, ensuring you can send all necessary files without hassle.

Coming Soon: Mandatory Migration for Email & Calendar Integration

Our team has been hard at work preparing for an essential migration of our email and calendar integration provider. This behind-the-scenes update will bring:

  • New calendar features - like integrations with Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.
  • Significant performance improvements, particularly for email functionalities.

For most of you, no action will be needed - you’ll just notice some improvements! For Microsoft users, you won’t see a disruption in service, but you’ll be prompted to re-authenticate when you log in.

We should start migrating accounts ~next week. We’ll send an email to you before we start!

We are so grateful for your continued support and feedback. Keep an eye out for next week’s updates—there are some incredible features just around the corner! Until then, have a fantastic Halloween, and we’ll see you in the next update. 👻

Happy travels,

Molly
