Tern Product Updates - April 30, 2024

Welcome back, Tern community! Excited to share all the latest updates from the past week 🙂

Our engineering team has been hard at work on a few major features that aren’t live yet, but are coming very soon - hint… 📃 & 🤖

We’ve got some great updates for you in the meantime! And look out for my next update for more on the above.

Email Enhancements

• Notice the speed? Yep, our engineering team worked their magic to make your inbox lightning-fast. No more waiting around for tabs to load!
• We've tidied up your inbox by automatically deleting emails not linked to contacts or trips after 30 days, and archived emails after one week. Less clutter, more efficiency!
• Fixed those pesky images that weren’t scaling well on certain email clients. 
• Now you can easily delete all synced emails after disconnecting your account in settings.
• Want to sync your scheduler but not your email? Just toggle the option in settings.

Database Additions

• We've beefed up our database with new airlines and currencies. Keep those requests coming, and we'll keep expanding!

Additional Advisor-side Improvements

• Easily filter activity templates by supplier for smoother workflow management.
• When duplicating a trip, set the status to whatever you need, ensuring your workflows and rules work as expected.
• No more confusion about trip links! You will always see the latest published version, even if you click on an old link (just like your clients do).

Mobile App and Client-side Upgrades

• Addresses in the mobile app are now clickable, opening in your preferred map app.
• Improved itinerary view with better font sizing for long trip names and added departure hours in port information.
• Pricing tab now includes dates for payment breakdowns, making it easier to track installments.
